Dear Everybody in the United States (myself included),

Dear Everybody in the United States (myself included),

I can't stop you from fighting a war, but please let me suggest you fight it here, where it will be far less bloody. Money spent on bombs is money that could easily have been spent on infrastructure. When we shoot our collective gun, it fires a bullet into our collective foot. There is no such thing as perfect security. The threat of "global terrorism" is significantly less than the threat of a culture weakened by waste. If the money invested into explosions and death were rather to be invested into the people and potential of these United States of America, this Nation would be immune to any threat.

Sincerely,

mjk
